Inthisexceedinglycompetitiveenvironment,everyonetriestobethebetterofthebest.Iamnoexception.Myentireundergraduateprograminelectricalengineeringcanbedividedintothreedistinctivestages.Forthefirsttwoyears,IallowedmyacademicintereststodevelopfreelybychoosingawiderangeofsubjectssothatImanagedtolayasolidfoundation.Ilikedtoattemptatsometentativeexperimentsthroughcomputersimulation,andprogramsoftwaretoprocessexperimentstatisticssothatIcouldimprovemyhands-onabilities.AsIenteredthethirdyear,Istartedtofocusonsignalprocessingasmymajorandpaidspecialattentiontodevelopmycomputerskills.InonesemesterItooktencourses.Butmyhardeffortspaidoff.MyGPAreached3.24,rankingamongtop20%amongatotalof84students.

Myrealacademicdevelopmenthappenedinthelasttwoyears,whenIwasrecruitedinOct.2023intotheCommunicationandSignalProcessingLaboratoryofouruniversity.ThereIattendedmanypresentations,receivedtechnicaltrainingsparticularlydesignedforlab’snewcomers,readalargequalityofscholarlyjournalsandtechnicalliterature,andcooperatedwithsomeoutstandingdoctoralandMaster’sstudentsinthelab.SinceFeb.2023,thedirectorofthelabofferedmeanexceptiononaccountofmystrongmathematicsbackgroundbyallowingmetoparticipateintheregularseminarsfordoctoralstudentstodiscussmatrixtheoryanditsapplication.Ononeofthoseseminars,Ididathematicpresentationregardingthenormsofvectorsandmatrices,whichwaswarmlyreceived.Asanundergraduate,Imadefulluseofthoserareopportunitiestocultivatemyresearchpotential.

Byfar,mymostimportantresearchachievementismythesisthatIindependentlycompletedfromJan.toAugust2023.Entitled_,mythesisoffersanin-depthanalysisofthestatisticalcharacteristicsoftheamplitudephasepositionoftheanalogmodulatedsignalundertheAWGNinterference.Basedonthis,Ipresentedthenewkeyfeaturevaluesandthevaluethreshold,withastudyofthestatisticalcharacteristicsofthevalues.Finally,Iincorporatedthenovelideaofsoftjudgmentinaccordancewiththelargenumberprincipleandcentralultimatelimitprinciple.Unlikeconventionalalgorithms,myalgorithmtookintoaccounttheeffectofnoise,applicabletolowSignal/NoiseRatio(SNR)above0db;theideaofsoftjudgmentisabsolutelyoriginal.Scored95/100,mythesiswasgivenhighlypositivecommentsfrommyadvisorwhohasrecommendedittoaleadingscholarlyjournalforpublication.

SinceSeptember,Ihavebeenengagedin_.Myresponsibilityintheresearchgroupistosimulatetheprocessofthemulti-resolutionaldetectionofthewatermarkandselectdifferentthresholdtoanalyzetheerrorprobability.TheresearchgroupconsistsmostlyofdoctoralstudentsfromwhomIhavederivedusefulresearchexperiences.Byworkinginclosecollaborationwiththem,Ihavelearnedtheimportanceofmakingconcertedeffortsforthefulfillmentofacommonobjective.

ToundertakeyourPh.D.programinelectroniccontrols,Ibelievethat,apartfrommyampleresearchexperience,Ihavetwouniqueadvantages.FirstIhaveanunusuallysolidfoundationinmathematics.MyacademictranscriptindicatesthatIhaveexcelledinAnalysisMathematics,LinearAlgebra(whosetextbook,writtenbyseniorprofessorsof_andChineseAcademyofScience,issaidtobethemostdifficultinAsia),OrdinaryDifferenceEquationMethodsinMathematicsandPhysics,ProbabilityTheory,MathematicalStatistics,StochasticProcess,andDiscreteMathematicalStructure.YourprograminElectronicControlsposesveryhighrequirementsonthestudent’smathematicalaptitudesandmytalentsinmathematicswillmakemeastrongcandidateforyourprogram.

Next,asastudentofelectricalengineering,Ihavestudiedmostofthespecializedcoursesasrequiredbyyourprogram.Asamatteroffact,thecoursesinmyundergraduatespecialtyofsignalprocessingoverlapheavilywithyourcurriculum.MyacademicperformanceinSignalsSystem(mostlyaboutFourierTransformation),DigitalSignalProcessing(whichanalyzesdiscretesignalsandsystems),andStatisticalAnalysisofSignalshasbeenwellaboveaverage.Atpresent,Iamself-studyingseveralsubjectsonelectroniccontrols.Withthosenecessarypreparations,IwouldliketoidentifyProf._asmypotentialadvisorbecausethecourseworkIhavedoneintheabove-mentionedfieldsisextremelyrelevanttotheDiscreteEventsSystemsthatProf._specializesin.

Amongseveral_universitiesthatIapplyfor,Iprioritizeon_University.Asoneofthethreemostprominentuniversitiesin_,youruniversityhasenjoyingincreasingacademicreputation,especiallyinthefieldofengineering.AmongawidevarietyofresearchprogramsofferedbytheDepartmentofElectricalandComputerEngineering,thelargestdepartmentinthe_CollegeofEngineering,IammostinterestedinElectronicControls.Iwillfirstundertakearesearch-orientedMaster’sprogram.IwillstartbytakingspecializedcoursesrangingfromControlSystemsII,NonlinearControlSystems,DiscreteEventSystems,SystemsandOptimalControl,IdentificationandAdaptiveControl,StochasticControl,toAdvancedControlSystemDesign.Throughcourseworkinthosesubjects,IexpecttoenrichmytheoreticalknowledgeinElectronicControl.AsmyundergraduateresearchfocusedonPatternRecognition,IbelieveIamwellgroundedformyfuturestudies.

Thepastcenturywitnessedtheentireprocesshowthesubjectofcontrolhasevolvedfromtheprimitiveuseoffeedbacksinwindmillsandsteamenginestothemoderntheoryandapplicationintelecommunicationsandspaceprocessindustry,withnewcomponentsofdigitalcomputers.Itrepresentsaratherchallengingdiscipline.ItismywishthatIgrowasthisdisciplineitselfgrows.

泰國留學要知道的禁忌

一、敬重宗教

泰國是一個全民信教的國家,國內90%的居民都是信仰佛教的,而佛教在日常生活中特別的常見,而且融入到了生活的各個方面,大家平常在和人交往的時候需要特殊的謹慎。

例如頭在佛教中擁有很重要的地位,大家和本地人交往的時候,盡量不要去觸碰他們的頭;而腳在佛教的交易中又屬于最污_的一個部分,指示的時候前往不要用腳,會被認為不敬重他人。

二、敬重皇室

紅色在祭祀等莊重的場合會使用得比較頻繁,明黃色則是很常見的艷麗顏色,褐色是不中很少使用的顏色,此外一周七天每天都會有代表的主題色,大家可以投其所好。

四、著裝禁忌

泰國有著自己的民族服飾,大家在平常就能夠很常見到,也可以選購一兩套當做參與傳統活動的時候的服飾,這樣能夠更好的融入到本地的環境之中,關心大家適應生活。
