1.Introduction：ReadingBetweentheLines

Readingbetweenthelinesmeansdrawingunderstandingabouttheauthor'sideasfrom

whatiswrittenandfromwhatisnotwritten.Writersdon'talwaysexpressalltheirthoughts

openly,eitherasamatterofstyle,orbecausetheyassumeweknowandsharetheir

opinions-orbecausetheyaren'tsurehowtoexpressthemselves.

Todrawinferencesabouttheauthor'sideaswehavetobeverycarefulwithwhatis

advised.

1)Youhavetomakeuseofcontextclues,commonsenseandourknowledgeoftheworld

2)Connectideasanddrawconclusionfromthereadingpassage

3)Formandtestwhatyouhaveunderstoodbetweenthelines.Thereadingactisatwo-way
